This also benefits artists aiming to reach a larger audience and increase their brand awareness.

The expansion of augmented and virtual reality devices has been a major factor in the Metaverse's  favorability. Many superstars are establishing themselves in the metaverse community, such as Justin Bieber, Arianna Grande, BlackPink, Travis Scott, Megan Thee Stallion, Ozzy Osborne, and more. Acclaimed rapper Snoop Dogg created a metaverse music video for “House I Built”, in April 2022, alluding to viewers that he may join the list of virtual performers. These performances are available on multiple metaverse platforms that have gained a far-reaching audience for nearly two decades. Highly recognized Descentraland, is one of the most popular social virtual platforms. And Roblox announced its partnership with Meta in 2022. Other companies, such as the Sandbox and Fortnight have partnered with entertainers to host metaverse concerts. 

MetaVerse Venues 

 Participants can easily purchase tickets through event ticketing platforms such as Eventbrite, Ticketmaster, CrowdPass, and more. CrowdPass ticketing platform can seamlessly aid event organizers with promotion and ticket sales for their metaverse events. Other industries have begun to follow the trends of virtual reality. Major luxury brands like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Dolce, and Gabbana have begun hosting fashion shows through VR. In the near future, the metaverse will continue expanding into theme parks and providing behind-the-scenes footage will be available from movies.

Music has always acted as a soundboard to help articulate life and how we connect in society. The advancement of metaverse concerts can be a safe space for event goers and artists and continue to act as a tool to promote unity and innovation. Undoubtedly, the metaverse is changing  ways we experience entertainment and eventually our day-to-day activities.
